The show is conversations. This is the people the conversations are with, each one a door: who they are, what they need, and what they can do.

Every door starts as one brief true sentence. It gets truer as we sit with the person. Some of these doors are full. Some are barely open. That difference is honest, and it is the point.

Everyone does locs now. Then they come to the experts to fix it.

Can offer: Loc repair and reconstruction, the fixer’s chair. People arrive after other work goes wrong, and every repair starts with a consultation.
Can offer: “I’ll get you in no matter what.” Same day appointments, if you need it.
Can offer: Chair rental for other stylists: daily at $60, tap to pay, with four day and weekly chairs too.
Can offer: A real consultation before any booking. She sees your hairline, your concerns, any breakage, in person or over video.
Need: A website for the shop. Bookings ran on texts she could not keep up with. Built by Theo, Oct 2026.
Exchange: Theo built her website. The first exchange this map ever made.
Lately: Her menu is narrowing toward locs and repair, more specialized, not less.

I make pottery, and I teach people to make it.

Can offer: Teaching through his club. 1,800 people are waiting to get in and there are 3 wheels. The waitlist itself is reachable through him.
Can offer: The work in more than one form: pieces, poems, and audio. A collection built to fill a whole room, not a shelf.
His ethic: A way of making where failure is allowed. “Nobody’s safe from fucking up,” and the wobble is the truth of the piece.
Need: Access to the means of making: a dedicated studio, a glaze lab, wheels enough for the people already waiting.
Status: Evolving. The school exhibit was blocked by a closure. A small exhibit showed in New York in summer 2026. The next collection is in progress.

I run a specialty coffee shop in Accra. The shop is a room for the neighborhood.
